Further 100 Game Honours Ties Awarded

Following a successful inaugural VP's lunch, club President Lionel Frewin, was delighted to present newly produced club ties

Spencer Franks and Tristan Lee were presented with newly produced club ties, embroidered in gold with '100', to celebrate them both having exceeded 100 games for the 1st XV during their playing careers.

Lionel was also delighted to congratulate Sam Matcham on receiving his first full cap for the 1st XV in today's game against Brighton RFC.

The most emotional presentation of the day was to our own Jean-Louis Gravier, who played his 65th and final game for the 1st XV today, before moving to Newcastle to take up a new position next week. Lionel was delighted to be able to present him with a bottle of champagne and to extol his virtues as a dedicated and talented team member who will be greatly missed. The whole club wishes him well.’
