Cobham lose half time lead as Havant notch up bonus point win

Match report courtesy of Havant
Steve Pope, Cobham director of rugby said after the game 'Again this week I do feel we were much improved in lots of areas, our first half performance was a possibly our best of the season with regards to the balance and control we showed against a much bigger heavier side. Our tempo and physicality were closer to were we expect.
The two front row injuries really didnt help us, against a good Havant side we can take a great deal from today and last weekend's game at Totts.
Hopefully the weeks break will give the boys  a chance to rest and recuperate and allow us to keep working on the areas we need to keep improving as  squad in training
Boys on debut today went very well - Alec O'Connor & Will Steven both showed what they are capable of.It was also great to see young Jake MacQuade back in action I thought he had a very good game today.
The 2's also had a great result today, taking the spoils against a strong Havant 2's side which is really pleasing for the club a whole.
Moving forwards to get where we hope to get we are going to need a strong squad and boys all willing play hard for the jersey, to pull together for a common purpose.
In the new club bar today you could really feel that starting to happen, looks and feels like a rugby club. Looking forwards to the huge challenges of CS Rugby away and then Medway, before we finish for Christmas break away to our local rivals Chobham ..who we do owe a big performance."
