Cobham Rugby and Sports Association ( CRSA) unveiled its exciting new bar development last weekend to considerable acclaim .
The bar compliments the top class facilities already on offer to members and the wider community and will provide them with a top class venue for any event.
The development follows a consultation exercise undertaken by senior squad member Dave Flower on behalf of the CRSA and following feedback, an initial plan was created for the bar extension.
Club President Lionel Frewin, who had been the driving force behind the original Clubhouse development work nearly ten years ago, took control of the project and with the assistance of club members Howard Gaunt, Carl Lemmer, Richard Vail and one of the Clubs sponsors, Ditton Construction, set about turning the plan into a reality.
As with the original clubhouse development the project was finalised on time and within the agreed budget and offers the Rugby ,Tennis Netball and Lacrosse members a great new facility to socialise, having played their sport using the first class sports facilities available at the grounds.
Cobham Rugby and Sports Association is a Community Club offering these facilities for the playing of sport for children and adults.
The new bar is open during the week for coffee and is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 6.30 to 10.30 (11.30 on Friday ) for members and Cobham residents to visit and watch the sports that will be shown on the TV screens whilst enjoying a drink.
If you want to book a party, wedding ,larger sports dinner or business event during the day the larger venue of the Cobham Curve is available for hire so please contact the club at email@example.com.
The Club owes an immense debt of gratitude to everyone who was involved in this project but in particular to Club President Lionel Frewin who used his vocational expertise to bring the project to fruition.
