Cobham RFC thanks its volunteers, now with photo's

Cobham RFC held their inaugural 'Value the volunteer' lunch at the Cobham Curve last Saturday to recognise the invaluable contribution that volunteers make towards the Club. Chairman Steve Heard hosted the event and President Lionel Frewin offered his sincere thanks to the Breamar club who had sponsored the lunch and offered his personal thanks.
 

Cobham were delighted to welcome local MP Dominic Raab who spoke about the very important role volunteers fulfil across his constituency and how pleased he was to see how volunteering was making such a difference at Cobham RFC. 

Chairman of Surrey rugby Nigel Heslop, supporting visiting team Chobham, assisted Dominic to present club ties to some of the volunteers present

and receiving an award on behalf of her husband Sean who was stalwart volunteer to the Club, Helen Sullivan 

Tom Schofield, long term volunteer and manager of the First XV, very appropriately won a Shard experience and dinner courtesy of Surrey Rugby who had very kindly donated prizes for volunteers
