The Braemar Allstars raise £750 for the MyName5Doddie Foundation

You may remember the fundraising bike ride from Twickenham to Murrayfield back in February made by Rob Wainwright, Jon Hall, Paddy Johns, Paul Volley, Tom Leefe, Graeme Smith, Ross Duncan, John Williams, Russell Kesley and Andy Peterson.

This was organised by "Wounded Lions 500" to raise money for Doddie Weirs' fabulous charity MyName5Doddie Foundation (https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk), the funds from which are going towards finding a cure for the dreadful Motor Neuron Disease - a disease from which Doddie himself suffers.

You may also recall that the Braemar Allstars Club chose to support this fundraising effort. This was not just because it is a great and important cause in its own right but also because, on a rugby tour to Prague a few years ago, Doddie actually played for the Allstars in a Vets competition there – as evidenced in the picture below!

The Braemar Allstars Club are very humbled, but extremely proud, to have received a video of thanks from Doddie himself - you can download and view it here.
