Cobham RFC celebrate Duncan Felton's 80th birthday

Last week the club was delighted to host a celebratory breakfast to mark the 80th birthday of long time member Duncan Felton.

A club member for some 45 years, Dunc was one of the original instigators of the Mini section, coached both minis and youth as well as playing for the club in earlier years.

Not content with being such an active member over so many years, he also again stepped forward a few years ago, taking over the running of our very successful kit shop from our current President.

Some thirty plus club members turned up for an excellent champagne breakfast to mark this auspicious occasion, which was a complete surprise for Dunc until, accompanied by son William, he walked into the club's function suite when he was greeted with a tuneful rendition of 'Happy Birthday'.
